Wisewoulds Lawyers are one of Melbourne's leading commercial law firms.

The brief: the firm had just recruited one of Australia's foremost experts on Competition (antitrust) Law. They needed a simple brochure to promote his seminars and compliance advisory service to senior directors of large Australian corporations.

The target market tends to be inundated with slick, glossy brochures bearing images of nice looking corporate types in plate glass offices. These usually go straight into the waste paper basket. Therefore, to give the brochure curiosity value and make it as eye catching as possible, we commissioned a courtoom sketch artist to draw a director in the dock of the Supreme court.

We also used the front page challenge directors' knowledge of vital points of law - questions they need to be able to answer correctly to avoid ending up like the unfortunate gentleman in the illustration.

The brochure is an A4 trifold with six panels.
